The Western Metal Supply building and a big scoreboard dominate the left
field area of Petco Park. The WMS building was built in 1909 and
completely renovated during the construction of the ballpark. Home
plate and the park's dimensions were actually established off the location
of the WMS building and the park's museum and party suites now are housed there.
