Matt’s Major League Ballpark Pages
In 1996, for a number of reasons, I began catching my favorite baseball team, the Cleveland Indians, at away games…starting in Oakland, Chicago and Baltimore. From those initial few away games, a conquest to see ALL the Major League parks was born. At the same time, I took advantage of my website to post my photos, comments, opinions and ratings for each venue. Somewhat amazingly, my Ballpark Pages have achieved a bit of a cult popularity and I often receive e-mails from people who share the ballpark bug, want advice on their own trips or just want to disagree with my opinions. Whatever brings you to my website, please feel free to look around and, hopefully, it will be worth your time!
Matt’s Current Status
As of April 2008, I have seen games in all 30 of the current MLB ballparks, having recently visited the new home of the Washington Nationals. My count stands at 41 total, having seen 11 of the retired ballparks as well. The 2008 season has or will bring trips to Denver, Pittsburgh, Washington, Boston, Kansas City, Arlington and Houston. As of the 2009 season, I will need to see 3 new parks, as the Mets, Twins and Yankees are moving into new homes.
