The North Ridge of Mount Washington steadily rises toward the Summit
Pinnacle. This shot was taken where the trail meets the base of
ridge around 6,300 feet. The ascent route goes directly up the
spine of the ridge, but the descent route (a very slight line) can be
seen on the scree slope to the right center of the photo.
