MULTNOMAH FALLS, OREGON

The Multnomah Falls area, just 30 minutes east of Portland provides countless tourists a year-round view of beautiful waterfalls.  The highest and most famous is Multnomah Falls, a 611 foot double falls which drops from Larch Mountain down to the Columbia River.  Multnomah, Horsetail, Wahkeena and LaTourell Falls drain off the Mountain and run right along the historic Columbia River Gorge Scenic Highway.  A good hike up Larch Mountain provides great views of several smaller falls along the tributary stream of Multnomah Falls.  Check out my pictures by clicking the thumbnails below.
